A non-refundable deposit of $2,500 confirms your space. Should your date change 150 days before your originally scheduled date, you may transfer to another available date. Your deposit is subtracted from your final bill. The Lake Union Cafe does not accept credit cards.
Time & Space:
11-4 pm or 6-11 pm.Events are contracted for a five-hour period. The first hour is for set-up, family pictures and deliveries. Please schedule the ceremony at least 30 minutes after guest arrival time. Additional hours can be purchased at $450 per hour.
We provide the bartenders for your event at $30 per bartender, per hour, plus one hour setup. A second Bartender is needed for Soft Bars (beer, wine, pop) of 135 or more guests and for Hard Bars (hard liquor) for 110 or more guests. This requirement is so we may adequately serve your guests.
Fully hosted or cash bars are available. Assorted pop, seltzer, juice & full bar accompaniments (mixers, soft drinks, juices & garnishes ) are available for $300.00, or you may bring your own and we will gladly set it up for you. A Washington state banquet permit is required for all alcohol beverages served. You can obtain this at your local WSLS for $10. (Please bring the permit with you when paying the bill.)
An additional labor fee of $500.00 will be charged for ceremonies requiring room re-set from ceremony to reception.
Full payment is due 5 business days before your event. Menus, guest counts and other special requests can be arranged at this time.
The Lake Union Cafe does not accept credit cards.
A separate check for $600 is due at time of payment. We hold this deposit in case there is extra cleaning due to damage, additional guests or overtime. The voided check will be mailed back if the deposit is not used.
Candle Rental Package is $300.00 (Optional). Certain restrictions apply. Please inquire.
Private parking is an additional $300.00. The Lake Union Cafe accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items from the Cafe or parking lot.
A $50 fee may be charged if an offsite bakery is used.
